Ruth Pilarte is a writer and editor based in Houston, Texas.

My love of words and storytelling allows me to write for all audiences and mediums. My writing background includes everything from copywriting to featured writing to blogging to editing.
Prior to pursuing a professional writing career, I taught writing and Language Arts at the middle school level for over five years. I have a Master of Science in Professional Writing from New York University (NYU) and two Bachelor’s degrees from The University of Houston: one in English Literature and the second in Psychology.
